Our Mission
Through circus theater we aspire to bring meaningful stories to our community by creating a healthy, non-competitive environment which improves the lives of individuals through fitness, confidence, emotional intelligence, and provide an expressive artistic outlet.
By providing professional instruction, GravityWorks Circus strives to create a non-competitive and safe environment for those wanting to learn aerial circus. Our goal is to increase self-confidence and love for one’s own body. We help students take risks, physically and emotionally, at their individual learning pace in a safe manner.

OUR STORY
1996
GravityWorks Circus was founded by Nisha Ferguson in Toronto, Canada.

2001
Nisha moved GravityWorks to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, expanded her troupe and put on multiple shows since. Ana Cecilia Corona became her regular trapeze partner and both have continued to do aerial.

2008
Ana Cecilia Corona took over the circus school for kids while Nisha ran the company.
The GravityWorks Circus school has been putting on aerial theater performances every year since in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, lead by company member and director Ana Cecilia Corona with helping member Maya Trujillo.
Maya Trujillo
2020
Maya Trujillo expanded the GravityWorks Circus Company and School to Yellow Springs, Ohio in the Unites States where she currently resides and teaches aerial fabric.
